The Heart of the Perfection of Wisdom
With Lara Braitstein
March 29 - 31, 2024
The Heart Sutra is among the best-known Mahayana Sutras. It is also among the shortest. Condensed, complex, and profound, its capacity to illuminate the profound doctrine of emptiness is unparalleled. Join Lara Braitstein for a weekend of exploring some of the many uses and interpretations of this short, brilliant text. We will look together at the ways that meaning is created and experienced through chanting, reciting, writing and – of course – reading this powerful sutra.
