Awakening Through the Body: A Somatic & Energy-Based Meditation Retreat

With Padmadharini and Jayasuri

February 20 - 23, 2026

Triratna Sangha Retreat

RETREAT BY INVITED PRESENTER

Triratna’s system of practice offers a clear and transformative pathway toward awakening. Each stage invites us into deeper levels of embodiment and presence, supporting the natural emergence of freedom. On this retreat, we will explore the system not only as a developmental map but as a lived, moment-to-moment experience in the body.

We will engage meditation practices that cultivate grounded awareness, receptive attention, and the integration of subtle energies. Through somatic sensing, movement, and energy-based inquiry, we learn to listen beneath conceptual thought, attuning to the profound intelligence always present in our bodily experience. As we soften resistance and meet inner life directly, emotional and psychic energy can transform into vitality, clarity, and ease.

Supported silence, ritual elements, and the shared field of practice will encourage a shift from “thinking about practice” to being practice — opening the doorway to a more intuitive, alive connection with the Dharma.

This retreat is highly experiential, inviting us into the mysterious and sacred dimension of the body-heart-mind — where insight arises naturally, and where the qualities of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas become tangibly real.

“The healing food, meticulous surroundings, respectful staff and the deep, deep sense of community were transformative. This retreat helped me rediscover what matters to me in life.”
