Spring Renewal Iyengar Yoga Retreat
With Leah Katz
April 3 - 5, 2026
RETREAT BY INVITED PRESENTER
This retreat takes place in the early springtime, during Passover and Easter—times that celebrate rebirth, renewal, and liberation. During this sacred time we will slow down and tend to both our physical and inner landscapes. We will prepare the ground of body, mind, and heart, planting seeds to nourish awakening. Through moments of solitude and shared community, we will gather the strength to grow and renew. The methodical and clear teachings of Iyengar Yoga will allow you to develop confidence in your yoga practice, while you gain a sense of ease from a weekend of self-care within a safe community of fellow seekers.
I have worked with many great yogis in my 15+ year yoga journey. Leah is perhaps the most kind, thoughtful and knowledgable instructor I have met and she makes my well-being her highest priority. I am so very grateful to be her student!

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Why go on retreat? To slow down for real. To gather with community. To observe stars, breath, silence. To feel the body, patience, perspective.
And to practice Iyengar yoga.
While each session will have a unique focus, you can expect to receive a firm foundation in the methodology of Iyengar method of yoga, including:
- Asanas, which are the physical postures
- Pranayama, the art of breathing, a conscious and intentional practice to help bridge the physical and spiritual realms
- Yoga philosophy, encompassing ancient wisdom texts including Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita
Throughout, there will be time for meditation, silence, deep rest, group discussions and Q&A.
This program will include both rigorous practices and gentle restorative ones. It is intended for the serious student of yoga—which may mean that you have been practicing for many years and are advanced in knowledge and skill or that you are newer to yoga but you approach it with integrity. Adaptations and alternative poses will always be offered.
Bring an open mind and a willingness to explore yourself and Iyengar yoga with patience and curiosity. You will leave with confidence in your personal approach to yoga practice, and a sense of ease and peace from a weekend of self-care within a safe community of fellow seekers.
